Greetings

Thanks for visiting our church website.  As you browse around the various pages, you will see that there is a lot going on at Amherst Baptist Church.  In fact, if you don't see what you are looking for let us know.  It could very well be that it is something that we ought to be doing.

My wife and I came are “transplants” in Western New York.  After living most of our adult years in Texas and Oklahoma, God has moved us to “the promised land.”  We have fallen in love with the area - the people and the places of the Empire State.  We look forward to serving the Lord with the wonderful people known as the Amherst Baptist Church family.  We have a rich history of service and ministry in the Buffalo area and beyond.  We are a mission-minded people that take the Great Commission of Jesus Christ seriously as we share the gospel and love of Jesus from our neighborhood to the ends of the earth.

If you are looking for a church to call home please consider Amherst Baptist as that place.  I know that I am pastor here but I can assure you that you will find this to be a place where you can be known and loved.  We are a community where God is revered, Christ is exalted and the God's Holy Spirit is honored.  Our commitment will be to provide a place where you can meet with God and His people to be encouraged and strengthened to live a life of meaning and purpose.
